NATHALIE BUJOLD /4 MIN 11 S /NO DIALOGUE /27TH FESTIVAL INT. DU FILMS SUR L'ART.

A musician is literally animated by video artist Nathalie Bujold. The sound was filmed in separate segments, which were then assembled to produce the score. For each block of sound, imagery was constructed as a reflection of the musical form; a number of motifs were then added to create a sort of music video. Featuring Gerard Leckey on bass.

Le Train Ou Vont Les Choses / Les Trains Ou Vont Les Choses

This video was shot in Lebanon in 2002 and edited in Montreal in 2006. Original version and Plural version: "Thirty-five continuous sequences, pixel-like, recur in a time-lag, forming an undulatory horizontal movement. The result is a retinal tapestry". Music : Gerard Leckey and Lary Seven Live at Den Of Theives NYC.

The Conseil des arts et des letters du Québec artistic creation award for the best art and experimental film went (in a tie) to both Nathalie Bujold's Les Trains Ou Vont Les Choses and François Miron's Hymn To Pan.
